Bethel #53 is winding down one term and getting ready for another.
We are selling Village Inn pie certificates. These make great gifts for Christmas. Please contact one of the members or Council and get your certificates today. They are $10 each.
December's meeting should be more of a friendship get-together than anything else; we will have our potluck be-fore the meeting. In regards to the meeting, our Grand visit is behind us, our raffle doesn't start until January, and the Festival isn't until March as are elections. Grand York Rite and our Steak Fry will be April and Installation in May.
Come, relax, business should be light, and the conversation good, but, if you want to get out early, this will be the time.

One half of our dues cards have been issued and the due date is January 1st with suspension mandatory on April 30th if dues aren't paid by that date. To the officers: You must pay your 2010 dues BEFORE you are installed, and, while I will have cards, seal and other records available to take your dues on January 2nd before the installation, it would be easier on all of us, including the incoming WM's ulcer, if you were paid up ahead of time.

Brethren,
As we get ready to wrap up this Masonic year, I first would like to thank everyone for their patience with the new Trestle board format. Please continue to provide myself or Carl with your e-mail address if you have not already. Sending the trestle board through email helps us the be more fiscally and environmentally responsible. I would also like to take a moment to thank my wife for spending endless hours helping me fold trestle boards this year.
We would like to welcome Brenda (Mrs Jeffrey) Coleman as our newest advisor, yes we can take fe-male advisors, she has helped in the past and does a very good jobs with the boys. We still need more boys, we are only two short from being able to start with the basic initiations without resorting to short form with the new boys getting the full form degrees latter at conclave or round up. More advi-sors would be nice too. November we are planning an outing to Kansas City for Dad Land's birthday, the low cost rooms are gone, but we can still take prospects with us if there is interest.
On September 26th, five girls and five adults met at the Papio Bowl. A good time was had bowling and then to the Dairy Queen. We had two prospective members that afternoon.
The dues and donations are starting to roll in, 40% are in including donations and 11% are catching us up on address, phone and email changes. The Grand Lodge would like all of our valid emails, if someone has pulled, or can pull that out of the database, can you email it to me so I can then forward to Grand Lodge.
